Company overview
TTI Zhuhai, a world class manufacturer of tape measuring products, is seeking an NPD project leader. The NPD project leader will work very closely with US project leader and TTI China headquarters for all assigned new projects.

Key Responsibilities
1.Cooperate with US project leader and TTI China headquarters for all assigned projects at TTI Zhuhai
2.Lead Zhuhai project team and follow up on project activities according to NPD (Vigor) process. Support entire NPD process from concept design to initial production launch.
3.Drive the new projects to achieve schedule, quality and cost deliverables.
4.Identify cost improvement projects through design and process optimization.
5.Ensure design for manufacturing through cooperation with internal manufacturing team.
6.Lead team members to overcome difficulties in project development, internal & external communication.
7.Coach and develop team members on their knowledge and working skills.

Desired Education and Experience Requirement
1.Bachelor degree in engineering related field required. (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material and Science engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent technical degree)
2.Minimum 7 years combined engineering experience in roles such as project management, product design, project engineering and manufacturing engineering
3.Minimum 2 year project management experience needed
4.Multinational Company experience needed. Awareness of western culture and cross country management.
5.Ability to work with cross functional teams

Technical and Leadership Requirements
1.Familiar with plastic and metal raw material selection, injection molding, metal fabrication
2.Familiar with engineering tools such as FMEA, GD&T, SPC, FAI, DOE
3.Familiar with product design and manufacturing process review
4.Familiar with quoting process and structure for product and tooling.
5.Familiar with product specification, testing requirement.
6.Must possess strong problem solving & analytical skills, email and report writing skills.
7.Must have strong leadership, result orientated.
8.Must possess managerial skills combined with technical expertise along with a working knowledge of planning, budgets and financial analysis.
9.Good computer skills especially with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
10.Proficiency with 3D software such as Pro/E, UG or Solid Works.
11.Fluent communication in English and Mandarin.
