The Job
Position Summary
The Global Customer Experience (GCX) team at Stanley Black and Decker is looking for someone who likes the challenge of operationalizing processes and improving efficiency. They will streamline the workflow of global packaging by acting as the liaison between Program Managers, PMOs and the GCX teams. By facilitating program management within GCX they will increase accuracy and alignment of Milestone schedules for all global cross-functional teams.
As a Portfolio Specialist Here, you’ll be part of our GCX team located in Suzhou. You’ll get to:
Lead NPD Program Development within GCX.
Review incoming NPD Programs for accuracy.
Create schedule framework, align project deliverables and route to cross-functional teams.
Follow-up with Program Managers and PMOs for information and/or scheduling issues.
Drive Cross-functional Communication:
Lead weekly status meetings with Program Managers and attend monthly Product. o Development Reviews to maintain production schedules.
Anticipate and address when issues arise throughout the Milestone process.
Maintain continuous communication to all parties involved in each Program for capacity planning and on time delivery of packaging deliverables.
Connect with packaging focused Project Coordinators to streamline project deliverable routing of programs.
Workfront Administration:
Utilize our project management system in order to coordinate projects and capture metrics.
The Person

Bachelor\\\'s degree (B.A./B.S.) and 3+ years professional experience in a project. management, or operations role. In-house creative team, agency or marketing background preferred.
Ability to lead and delegate. Experience managing other people’s workload/assignments.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workflow, and effectively meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized, process focused, desire for continuous improvement.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong work ethic with the desire to learn and grow.
Solid experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience in Project Management Software (Workfront) preferred.
