Job Description:


? Driving overall improvement projects in China with Husqvarna Strategic Suppliers, focus on improved Q,C,D on
a Global basis. 
? The Primary Focus is to provide strategic direction & leadership in the area of continuous improvement by 
developing and implementing the Husqvarna Operating System (HOS) within Husqvarna China Strategic 
Suppliers. 
Essential Duties: 
? Ensure adherence to improvement project budgets and minimize operating costs and overheads. 
? Ensure implementation of KAIZENs and Suggestions leading to productivity improvements and cost savings. 
? Liaison with suppliers and consultants for Excite awards. 
? Plan for various improvement project initiatives across and ensure timely implementation. 
? Conduct periodic review of Process at suppliers end initiatives and formulate action points for respective 
suppliers. 
? Identify projects for quality, real-time manufacturing improvements, cost reduction & safer work place and 
ensure implementation across the strategic suppliers. 
? Lead support workshops at suppliers end for HOS implementation. 
? Coordinate/Support/Lead HOS activities at Husqvarna China Strategic suppliers. Enforce compliance with 
Husqvarna internal procedures (utilise HOS tools) to ensure that established quality and process procedures 
are being followed at all times. 
? Incubate and bring in new methodologies for process improvements and deploy corresponding analytical tools 
to measure effectiveness of the same. 
? Review and timely submit all MIS & reports. 
? Take responsibility for people development initiatives and building supplier employee’s capabilities.

? Undertake benchmarking with leading companies and OEM organizations in order to 
understand best practices in manufacturing and other business processes. 
Preferred qualifications: 
Education: 
? Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant discipline. 
Experience: 
? 8~10 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing which includes 3 or more years of implementation & Business 
Improvement Function. 
? Must require Problem Solving, 8D Methodology Skills. 
? On hand experience on Value Stream Mapping. 
? Lean Manufacturing certification is desired. 
Languages: 
? Fluency in English is required (written and oral),in other language is an advantage. 
? No problem in Mandarin both quick writing and reading. 
Skills and Capabilities (soft skill): 
? Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem solving skills. 
? Practical experience leading Kaizen events and teaching & coaching lean manufacturing tools is required. 
? Practical experience implementing lean manufacturing tools is required. 
? Practical experience on conducting Value stream Mapping & Layer Audits. 
? Previous experience in tools such as PFMEA, Control Plans, Standardized Work. 
? Strong written and verbal communications skills 
? Strong interpersonal skills (e.g., tact/diplomacy, listening, negotiation, consulting). 
? Knowledge and experience with software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) including presentation and 
database application
