Purpose of position：
As the first person in charge of quality management for the assigned new product project. Manage quality for dedicated product portfolio within decentralized Organizational Unit, acting as decision driver & solution provider, actively takes sole responsibility and accountability for results.
Job description:
1:Account for the quality of a defined product line byManaging Quality in product development projects including risk management and product releases
2:Putting forward the value of quality to long term customer satisfaction and inspiring development teams to see quality as added value
3:Leading product complaint handling, including root-cause analysis and related communication to markets
4:Monitoring and analyzing product quality in the markets and deriving improvement measures
5:Drive cross functional and cross organizational projects for continuous improvements of 6:processes and Quality systems
7:Act as the goalkeeper and safeguard the projects and products with solid quality mindset
Qualification:
1:University degree in engineering major
2:Proven broad and professional experience (5+ years) with corresponding project quality management
3:English language skills
4:Experience in an international environment (2+ years)
5:Structural thinking, planning and cultivate innovations, inspire and motivate others to see quality as an added value.
6:Understand markets, customers, and applications to have a grounded business understanding and customer quality requirements further transferring those to product features and process controls to ensure sustainable high quality of all offerings
7:Understand product portfolio, technologies, testing and manufacturing and limitations & risks to assess quality topics, drive quality requirements, and contribute to decision making.
8:Drive for results to solve quality problems and prevent them from occurring with the use of A3/8D and systematic problem solving
9:Implement long term sustainable solutions to drive customer satisfaction (continuous improvement).
10:Experienced in functional quality know-how and methodologies, eg: new product project and supplier process, risk assessment, FMEA, root cause analysis, proactively drive preventive measures and continuous improvement.
11:Drive quality standards at suppliers and external partners in collaboration with SQE, including requirements, contracting, auditing, and improvements.
12:Represent the voice of customer quality requirements in product related projects by influencing the team with arguing the value of quality and by challenging balanced risk assessments to achieve long term customer satisfaction, sales and Hilti profitability.
13:Build networks, work together with cross functional team members, develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence business decisions with strong entrepreneurial and quality mindset and getting things done to achieve desired results.
14:Presentation and communication skills to articulate quality benefits and business impact to relevant stakeholders and ensure sufficient and broad quality know-how across the BU.
15:Passion and interest for continuous learning and improvement of new quality technologies, processes and methodologies, share knowledge with others and drive ‘Quality First’ mindset in Hilti.
