The Job
Job Purpose
As Supply Chain Planner you are responsible for managing the demand & supply planning for the service parts product portfolio. You will be part of a truly international team of supply chain professionals that support the After Sales Service Teams across Europe by delivering best in class service parts availability while maintaining a healthy inventory level.
As a Supply Chain Planner Here, you’ll be part of our GTS team located in Shanghai or Suzhou. You’ll get to:
Place purchase orders to GSMA vendors
Review vendor performance and ensure timely dispatch of purchase orders placed
Maintain planning parameters: SKU status, safety stock, MOQ & vendor lead time
Monitor inbound deliveries & co-ordinate on time receipt with DC
Provide information on product availability to key stakeholders
Proactively review future availability risks and mitigate service level issues
Support new part introduction and ensure on time availability
Perform serviceability reviews and place last time buy orders where needed
Maintain system forecast and engage with markets on reviewing demand spikes
Monitor inventory level and drive initiatives to improve inventory turns
Identify opportunities to reduce excess exposure
Coordinate rebalancing of stock within our distribution network

Proven experience in a Supply Chain, Purchasing or Operations oriented role
Passionate about Supply Chain & customer focused
Result oriented, pro-active problem solver
Good analytical skills and fact-based decision making
Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently
Experienced in working in an international environment
Strong PC skills: SAP/ERP, Planning systems, Excel
Fluent in English
