职位描述

1.	PRIMARY FUNCTION 
Customer Service and Testing Support for IDEX’s Materials Processing Technologies platform (MPT) in China.

Primary Focus will be on the following Business Units
-	Fitzpatrick.
-	Quadro.

Based out of MPT’s Center of Excellence (COE) in Shanghai, the Technical Support Engineer will provide technical support to Fitzpatrick and Quadro Comill customers in China. This activity will include on-site customer service support in the form of troubleshooting  breakdown support, operator training, installation support and commissioning and start up support. 

Additionally the Technical Service Engineer will engage with customers and sales channel partners in China in the quotation, preparation, execution and reporting of material tests to be conducted through MPT’s COE facility.

3.	TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
-	Customer Service Support, including
-	Troubleshooting & breakdown support
-	Supervision and execution of lab tests
-	Operator training
-	Installation support and commissioning 
-	Start up support 
-	Service Contract Execution
-	Liaise with Business Unit experts on areas of process, application and product needs.
-	Quoting, planning, executing and reporting of tests for all Fitz business units.
-	Ensuring Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to at all times with regards to the conducting of material tests at the MPT COE.
-	Maintain all equipment in China COE in good working order.
-	The upkeep of the COE facility in a “showroom” condition at all times.
