Richter is part of IDEX Corporation. It is known as the 1st choice in the process industry with its plastic-lined magnetic drive process pumps for conveying corrosive, environmentally critical and high-purity fluids, especially with high pressure and temperature requirements and large flow volumes. We have production and assembly facilities in more than 50 countries.
Manufacturing Engineer is based in our Suzhou facility, accountable for the development, evaluation, documentation, and improvement of manufacturing methods, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. The target is to make sure manufacturability at minimal cost that meet the required quality, repeatability, cycle time, and safety goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Establishing, evaluating, developingimproving, and documenting manufacturing process for repeatability that meet safety, quality, efficiency, and cost needs.
-Drafting and designing layout of equipment, materials, and work place on shop floor to illustrate maximum efficiency.
-Working closely with production department to develop. Coordinate, and implement technical training for front line employees.
-Designing and developing manufacturing process and related fixturestools that are consistent zero defect level and low product cost.
-Providing engineering support to production on accurate BOM, routing, Work Instructions, troubleshootingcorrective actions to solve technical problems, and implement ECN if any change on manufacturing process.
-Taking a leader on root cause analysis, corrective actions, and report generation for customer complains.
-Leading or supporting on localization projects, costing saving project, CIP and NPI.
-Other things supervisor assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
-3~5years experience as manufacturing engineer, familiar with valvespumps manufacturing is preferred.
-Work independently, accept responsibilities.
-Strong project management experience.
-Knowledge on design of layout, materials flow, work cell, etc.
-Familiar with BOM structure, time study, line balance, etc. engineering tools.
-Good communication skills and team work spirit.
-Knowledge on lean manufacturing, root causes analysis and problem solving.
-Good skills on writing and speaking English.
EDUCATION
-Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related experience.
